Week 6 Preview (Su13): Through the Storm

Written by - Posted 2013-09-13 09:19 in News

It’s moving day this Sunday. Week 6, the penultimate round and much is left to be decided as 4.5 teams are batting for the final two wild card spots. (Gas House is the .5, obviously.)

Partly cloudy, 80 for a high, and single digit wind from the south. This is what we call perfect wiffle ball conditions. Though…obviously, even if we had the Thursday evening storms roll through we would have played, right?

Some must watch games in the afternoon as the Canvassers and Nasty Boys tangle, the Gumballers have two tough rebound opponents in Gas House and Ha’chi. We close things out with round 1 of a much anticipated Suns Out and Moose Knuckles contest with the Southern Division on the line. Well, round 1 for this season anyway, Moose is 3-1 all time, but lost their last meeting. They might be better off if Gagnon serves a self imposed suspension from the batting order.

Don’t forget to vote for Player of the Week by Noon today. Web gems voting will open later tonight. The Besley Bashers tried to come in and dominate the web gems this week, but we know you won’t let them.
