I’m really at a loss for what is happening this season. Insanity I tell you. Let’s get to the nominations.

This week we got to see Zach Carter of Master Batters (3 nominations, 2 wins) at his finest. Carter carried the Master Batters, batting .667, an ops of 3.000 (!), hitting 5 home runs, with 7 RBIs. Carter also pitched 9 innings, with an ERA of 4.67 and 8 strikeouts.

Don McClintock (4 nominations, 0 wins) is off to a great start this year. This week, Don batted .556, hitting 2 home runs, and knocking in 4 RBIs with two doubles.

Our second nominated Gumballer of the week, possibly with his best week to date, Michael Cohen (3 nominations, 0 wins) went on a tear at the plate. Cohen batted .556, had an OPS of 2.444, hit 4 home runs, with 7 RBIs.

Trying to make some noise in the “new team” category is I Want My Corners, led by Jack Shannon (10 nominations, 3 wins) who did his best to fuel the “brother rivalry” in regards to home runs. On the day, Jack batted .500, an OPS of 1.700, hit 2 home runs, with 4 RBIs. He also pitched 11 innings, had a 2.18 ERA (1-1), with 12 strikeouts.

Say hello to our leader for rookie of the year nomination, Samuel Cable of Besley Bashers (first nomination). This week was his best yet, batting .571, with an OPS of 2.214, Cable hit 5 home runs, had 7 RBIs. All other rookies are looking up at Cable right now.

The public vote counts for 50% of the overall total, and the league managers vote counts for the remaining 50%.
