Player of the Week: Week 2 Nominees (Su15)

Another new location!

The DC Twits are 5-0 to start the season, most likely still angry over their disappointing Spring season. Helping them out this year has been Dan Lockbaum . On the day, he batted .444 with an OPS of 1.389. He had 3 RBIs and 3 home runs (including a walk off against Gagnon).

Making an instant impact for the Janitors, Max Frankel helped them out of the basement. On the day, Max batted .700, had an OPS of 1.200, had 2 RBIs, and 1 home run. Not bad Max.

This guy is just doing it all! Standing in as deputy commissioner on the day, Michael Burns showed he can still hit. Burns batted .500 with an OPS of 1.875, had 5 RBIs and 2 home runs. Wolfpack are looking tough to beat right now.

Two weeks, two nominations. Connor Dierman is off to a great start. In week 2, Connor batted .538 with an OPS of 1.769, hit 3 home runs with 4 RBIs — and also pitched 17 innings with an ERA of 1.06.

I have a feeling Nick West will be on here a lot this year. For the day, West batted .667, had an OPS of 1.667, and 3 doubles. He is the spark of the Wolfpack — all offense moves through him if they hope to win.

The public vote counts for 50% of the overall total, and the league managers vote counts for the remaining 50%.
